Should people who smoke weed or cigarettes hold your newborn baby?

Why?: Why would you want to expose your infant to second hand smoke or someone who may not be able to be fully aware of the responsibility of even holding a child?
Dr. James Ferguson
Pediatrics 46 years experience
Consider the effects: Second hand smoke is known to double or triple a babies frequency of respiratory disease and ear infections. It has also been linked to a higher frequency of crib death. Although it is a common practice in some settings it is a risky one. In my mind it is a form of child abuse, but that is just me.
