Unrelated: Braces and lightheadedness are unrelated. Lightheadedness usually indicates vertigo of mild nature. You can try OTC Meclizine in dosage which can be gradually increased upto 50 mg 3x/day with supervision from your PCP.
Orthodontics 53 years experience
Light headed: Braces (orthodontic tooth movement) and lightheadedness are not related. So the question then becomes what else could be causing your mild dizziness. Have you recently had a virus, allergic response to environmental allergens, change in sleep pattern/meds/supplements, and so many other questions that your physician should discuss with you.
