CLAVICLE: You need to be seen by MD. Normally , there is no node or mass . It can be inflammation due to painful swelling.

Few possibilities : In general a lump of any kind that has appeared suddenly and especially if painful should be evaluated by a doctor. It could certainly be an inflamed lymph node, abscess, cyst or something else.

Ball on Collar bone: The "ball" on your collar bone, is likely a knot which moves could be a lymph node or a cyst near your collar bone.. Would be helpful to know the size and color of this knot and any other associated symptoms. If it is hurting, it indicates some inflammation or infection for which a short course of anti inflammatory agent like Ibuprofen may be helpful.
