Depends on the cause: If it is excess fat, lose weight. If it is localized excess fat, you may be a candidate for liposuction. If there is excess skin and laxity of the abdominal wall due to pregnancy or large weight loss, you may need an abdominoplasty. See a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to investigate the best options for you.

Can i wear spanx to get rid of my mommy tummy?

Maybe: Spanx can only give a limited amount of control. So if you have minimal bulge and little or no loose skin it may help. Larger amounts of loose skin or bigger bulges may require something more, possibly surgery in the form of a tummy tuck.
