A 38-year-old female asked:

I have ovulated at least twice with no period (last period was march 17). is this normal? i had a miscarriage in december. two negative pregnancy test

Ovulation w/o bleed: This can happen and be normal, but it is uncommon. The failure to develop bleeding after ovulation can be due to a Progesterone deficiency, so that should be evaluated.

NO, it's not: It's not normal to ovulate and then not menstruate unless someone is pregnant. It's imperative to see a board certified reproductive endocrinologist who can get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.
