1 year: For a couple to achieve pregnancy a time frame to up to a year is considered normal. In other words: If a couple actively trying to achieve pregnancy and the woman does not conceive within 1 year, a fertility specialist (reproductive endocrinology and infertility) ought to be consulted to possibly identify the cause and offer treatment.
