Get Checked : Snoring can indicate sleep apnea. You should consult with a qualified sleep specialist and have testing done. If you are apneic there are many treatments (CPAP, dental devices, surgery, etc). Non - apneic snoring can be treated with a dental device that holds your jaw in a forward position to open the airway.

Oral appliances: First off, rule out obstructive sleep apnea, nasal and sinus problems. Then simple lifestyle changes can help stop snoring. Lose weight, quit smoking. Avoid alcohol, sleeping pills, and sedatives, especially before bedtime. See orofacial pain and sleep specialist for oral devices, lower jaw-positioners. Good luck.
