Can asgwaghanda be taken long term? me thyroid dr told me 2 stop taking levoxyl (thyroxine) because my body is producing enough. he knows i take this herb

There is no: scientific information to confirm ANY benefits to taking asgwaghanda. There is no way to confirm that your thyroid levels would be normal without replacement if the lab tests were drawn while you were receiving replacement. The only way to tell for sure is to be totally off replacement for at least six weeks before lab is drawn.
