my dtr is 7 months pregnant has wbc of 20,000 it just keeps going up, could it b cancer? is this common in pregnant women?

Differential count: Pregnant women often have high WBC count, but usually not this high. It is not likely to be cancer. Please talk to your dtr's doctor to see if the blood smear should be evaluated by a pathologist.
