how could a 12 year old lose weight quickly in no more than two months?

Does the 12 year: old actually need to lose weight? Slower is usually better than quickly. Healthy weight and body fat is more about life style then going on rapid diets. Why not discuss with child's pediatrician.

Not advisable!: I never like to hear " quick" in any weight loss strategy! We are looking for a permanent lifestyle change for your family that will enable a healthy weight for life! Start with limiting fast food. Cook meals at home with fresh fruits and veggies. Your 12 year old can start to help with meal prep and even recipes. Aim for 8 fruits and veggies, 8 glasses of water, one hour of exercise.

Also, limit screen time - TV, videos , computer, phone, notebook & games - to a combined total of 2 hours/day.
