can you tell me about any good or bad experiences with acupuncture?

Yes: Acupuncture can be an effective and safe approach to many medical problems. I have had positive experiences working with wounded warriors who have pain that is not controlled with use of high doses of opiates. They often can reduce narcotic use significantly - & some stop use of opiates altogether.
