Not likely: A bone bruise is a traumatic injury that sustained from a forceful trauma. A bruise, also called a contusion or hematoma is caused by blood vessels damage. Blood vessels become more fragile as we age, and bruising may even occur without serious injury. Home remedies like warm compress application and Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain control will solve the problem in a few weeks. Take care.
