I have red bump and surrounding skin that is really painful on the groin pubic area. what is this? how do i make it go away? how do i treat it?

Inflammation: Could be inflamed sebaceous (oil) Gland or inflamed hair follicle- keep the area clean and try. Avoid shaving but if you must- please ensure using a clean razor each time. At times these may become bigger and could be a sign of an infection that needs antibiotics so make sure you see your provider if you develop fevers or if the bumps get bigger and more painful.
