Relative index?: It depends on your relative index. If you perform strenuous muscular work and draw a CPK and CPK-MB, both will be elevated, but the relative index will be normal indicating a benign source. If the RI is elevated, you should have a troponin done. If it's elevated, you may have had a recent heart attack, myocarditis, or trauma.
