PT, antiinflammatory: A good physical therapist can give you a progressive exercise program, instruction in heat and cold and other therapies such as ultrasound. Your physician can prescribe antiinflammatories and could inject the tendon. It is important to maintain range of motion of the shoulder.

More information pls: It depends on which tendon is inflamed. Rotator cuff, versus biceps tendon, or conceivably one of the others. Please give more information.
