A 47-year-old female asked:
what are odd of conception after 45. do menstrual cycles become lighter and shorter?

Sorry very slim: At age 45 chances of conception are near zero, sorry to say. More exactly, for over 99.9/100 women the chances ARE zero, though a very small number of pregnancies have happened. Pregnancies absolutely occurred up to 47; no one "knows" for sure how late in life a woman can conceive. I've read cases reported up to 58; I'm not certain how well proven these are.
