Who knows: The company does not list the ingredients to know if it is effective. The best for lightening the skin is hydroquinone products. Only through a physician and no longer than 12 weeks. There are non-hq based products that have an effect to lighten the skin.

Light skin: For lighter skin – always protect your skin. 1. Use a broad spectrum sun screen with a high SPF. Apply as often as needed. 2. Wears hat or other clothing to protect skin from Sun’s UV rays. 3. Try to avoid mid-day sun. A medication like hydroquinone may take months to work and usually it’s use would be limited to a particular site on the body.

Don't think so: I believe it is for fungal infections and has Hydrocortisone and clotrimazole. Neither of these should cause lightening of skin unless you place it on darkened inflamed area.

No. : There's no medical reason to lighten your skin. If you want fairer and healthier skin, just avoid the sun and use sun block. Your tan will fade without continued exposure.
