Not similar: Faslodex (fulvestrant) is an anti hormonal medication. Blocks production of estrogen. Xeloda is a chemotherapy medication. Hope this helps.

NO: Faslodex (fulvestrant) is an anti estogen therapy -used to treat hormone receptor positive breast cancer (breast cancer that depends on hormones such as estrogen to grow)- is given by injecting medication into the muscle. Xeloda is an oral chemotherapy- which is a pro drug of 5fu. It is used to treat different kind of cancer such as- colon, esophagus, rectal, breast . They are not similar.
