It is OK: You can have a herniated disk without knowing it. Herniated disks sometimes show up on spinal images of people who have no symptoms of a disk problem. If you have symptoms, there are many simple actions you can take right at home to help treat and reduce back/neck pain from a herniated disc. Rec.: consult with your treating physician for more information and proper pt.
