Multiple causes: You may be expereimcing symtoms of acid reflux or you may have gastriris, an inflammation of the stomach. I would recommend over the counter Pepcid (famotidine) ac am/pm for 1 week; hoever, if not improved or worsening, you must seek medical attention. Watch for black stools or vomiting of blood: if either occurs go directly to the er.
