Depends: Go to psychologist. The symptoms are occurring during the winter during school time. Is there a bully at school? Could she have a learning disability which may lead to symptoms of depression. Could she be experiencing sad, seasonal affective disorder? Note did the doctor test for mono?
Dr. Dana Hogan

Malaise: If a child has seasonal problems, address possible seasonal allergies. Perhaps, there are increased molds or mildews in your house if you have a basement and your area has a lot of rain in the winter. Also, a lack of vit d may cause symptoms of depression. I would limit artificial light after sunset: no tv, computer, or cellphone use. I would increase exercise to maximize sleep quality.

Don't forget to investigate the very likely possibility of inadequate sleep either due to poor sleep hygiene or a sleep disorder such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The Majority of behavioral issues in school kids is insufficient sleep. Ask about sleep habits and consider sleep medicine referral if there is any indication of a contributing sleep pathology.
