i have 2 herniated cervical discs, i suffer from severe dizziness. is dizziness caused by hernia itself or the contractures it causes in the upper back?

Dizziness is not: Usually associated with vertebral column issues though it certainly can be within the spectrum of symptoms associated with the pain produced. Would suggest you discuss this more thoroughly with your doctor as the dizziness is likely generated by another condition.
