L tonsil 3+ r is 2+ been this way long time. ent & 2other drs seen it. my ent didn't seem concerned. is asymmetrical tonsils always cancer? why 1 big?

We're not symmetric!: You've done the right thing by seeing an ent, and if the specialist isn't concerned, you shouldn't be either. We humans are not even, so one foot or one breast or one tonsil is often bigger than the other. It's nothing to worry about if it's been that way a long time. New changes in size causing asymmetry (in either a breast or tonsil) are when we worry about cancer! stay calm and be well!
