Please see below.: True peanut allergy means that usually within 2 hours of intake of peanuts or their products, your child starts having hives, facial/eyelid/tongue/lip/throat swelling, itching, chest tightness, wheeze, vomiting, abdominal pain, rapid pulse, dizziness, low blood pressure, fainting, and/or respiratory or cardiac arrest. Please see an allergist asap for testing if you suspect a food allergy.

Yes: Baker's semi-sweet by kraft is peanut-free. I have patients tell me that trader joe's sells one as well. To make sure, i would call the manufacturer to verify and of course, always read the labels.
