Controversial: Evidence-based research provides little support for this and it remains controversial. Since this is a common childhood psychiatric disorder, there are plenty of testimonials and people who will sell books and potions. Stimulants are relatively safe and effective. Behavior therapies are a home remedy for some symptoms and build skills. Multimodal treatment is the rule. Remedy implies cure.

No: No specific home remedies but parental understanding and support, getting educational support services, making sure a child gets sufficient sleep and has a well balanced diet.
