severe cardiac anxiety. woke up w/ 5 second squeezing pain center of chest @ breastline. no other symptoms. cannot reproduce. ecg and holter ok in oct?

Cardiac anxiety: Always important to first check symptoms with your primary care physician or a cardiologist. If no physical causes for the sensations can be determined you may be experiencing panic attacks and panic like symptoms. If that is the case, proceed with a cbt for panic disorder ( including interoceptive exposure ).

Any risk factors?: Do you have any risk factors for heart disease?. Your age is against it. Do you have...High bp, diabetes, high cholesterol or obesity? Unless you have one or more of these conditions and you smoke, there is no chance for your to have heart disease(coronary heart disease). Give us report on these risk factors, then we can guide you to the next steps to get you out of this anxiety.
