Every 12 - 24 hrs: Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) is usually given once a day or twice a day. You should take it as your doctor recommended. If it was given to you once a day you can continue taking it at 6 pm every day if that time is easy for you to remember to take it. If it was given twice a day then wait 12 hours between doses.

Dexedrine: Take it as close to your normal medication time as possible. That provides your body with more consistency and helps you to make it a habit.
