Exercise too easy?: If you don't feel any soreness in your chest or
pectoral muscles after a workout involving those muscles, I would think your resistance might be
too low
If you have a good hard workout, you should be a
little bit sore the next day
try to up your resistance a bit

Genetics rule: Unfortunately we are all given a genetic MAP for our body we cannot escape. Skeletal muscle cells do not increase in number only size with exercise so your existing muscle gets larger . You should know that many body builders have plastic surgery implants performed to make their muscles look the way they want them to. Exercise, lose weight and see what you look like then, there are no shortcuts.

Diet and exercise : As we all mature it's gets more difficult to build and keep muscle on. I would advise seeing a trainer and nutritionist to help you develop a winning program.

Get personal trainer: Possibly you are not working them properly or not enough.Bench press, incline press, flys( 3 sets should give you a decent chest workout). See a qualified personal trainer for assistance. Best of luck!
