is it normal to cramp about 7 days before you're period? i have fibroids and their is no chance i'm pregnant.

Prob not fibroids: Many things cause cramps. Sometimes it's due to GI issues, sometimes it's ovulation. If you have a cyst that ruptured (ovulating) there can be a little blood which causes irritation on hour bowels/insides. If it gets worse, definitely see a doc.

Fibroid/crampimg: It is possible that the fibroid is causing a harder cycle with cramping. Use Advil or Aleve (naproxen) and call you GYN for an exam.

Sonograms: Uterine fibroids are very easy to see on sonogram. Your obgyn may also be able to tell just through an examination.

Expected : At 48 some menstrual irregularity is expected as one approaches menopause. Fibroids can cause cramps.
