is it normal to ovulate on day21 of a 28 day cycle? blood test result said ovulation likely day 21. my cycles are every 28 days

Not the way it works: Nope. Ovulation occurs just shy of half way through your cycle. Day 21 would not give the body time to prepare and slough off the uterine lining if not pregnant and would not give enough time to protect the lining of the uterus if conception occurred.
