A 74-year-old female asked about a member:
my granddaughter is 2&a half years old & has 2 cats.she has now bronchitis & is so sick.can cats csuse this if child is allergic to cats?

Yes: The problem with cat is that even if you have removed the cat from the house, you can still find a lot of cat allergen as late as 2 years after. Consider seeing an allergist since it is rare that an allergic people is allergic to one single agent.

Yes: If she is allergic to cats she can most certainly feel unwell and have an aggressive cough. If she has a fever associated with these symptoms it is not likely to be allergy. Good luck!
