Yes: There is truly a lot of variables in this question - i.e. How much does the child use a pacy of suck their thumb per day, but for the most part these habits are devastating to teeth. Fever + sores: Hand foot and mouth is a viral infection that most commonly affects toddlers in the summer and fall. It causes fever, painful mouth ulcers, and painless spots on the hands and feet. Sometimes there is a more-extensive rash.

Hydrate...: Hydrate and and give analgesics (acetaminophen or "magic mouthwash"). It goes away by itself regardless of treatment, but it is good to avoid dehydration and mitigate the misery while it does.

Pressure on wound: Put a small bandaid on it and if is still bleeding in the morning then see your doctor.If it is bleeding a lot then go to the er to get it to stop.Cover it with pressure and keep pressure for at least 20 minutes then keep bandaid and slowly remove it gently more pressure should get the bleeding to stop. It will heal but get it checked.
