i weigh 138 (5'2'') and am breastfeeding a toddler. i want to lose weight without drying up my milk. what's the lowest caloric intake i can aim for?

Weight loss: You can be on a 15-1600 calorie diet, but speak to your obstetrician about getting involved in an exercise program.

Breastfeeding is...: ...The best way to lose weight! you transfer hundreds of calories to your baby daily by nursing. Combine that with a good diet and exercise and you will achieve your fitness goals. It's best not to concentrate on limiting caloric intake as this can lead to poor nutrition and health for you and your baby. Good luck to you!
