Not really: If you have symptoms of anthrax, a blood culture and gram stain can be used to confirm the diagnosis.
Anthrax is very rare in the US.

Lots: Allergists commonly skin test for inhalant allergies (pollens, dust mites, animals, molds), foods, stinging insect allergy, penicillin allergy, and latex allergy. Oral challenges to drugs and foods are occasionally done as well.

A few examples: Antibody=protein your body makes to get rid off/attack a substance it considered foreign. Autoantibody refers to antiboby that is produced which attack its own body tissues. Famous example: rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, mixed connective tissue disease, autoimmune thyroiditis, type 1 diabetes, rheumatic heart disease, some nephropathies (kidney diseases) etc..Have fun learning.
