Flea bites: The best way to reduce the itch from flea bites is a combination of otc Hydrocortisone cream applied to the bites twice daily, and an oral antihistamine such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at bedtime. If Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is too sedating, otc claritin, allegra, or zyrtec may also help.
