how dangerous is angina? how can it be treated? i was in the hospital and they discharged without any medication. i have chest pain all the time

Chest pain: Must talk to your dr.Angina if you know is the diagnoses see your dr. Need proper investigations. Gerd can simulate angina.If you have coronary artery disease . Needs work up. Stress test echocardiogram , may be cardiac work up. Check your BP lipids and sugars.

Angina is serious: It appears you have had a thorough evaluation, or not. But all that said if they have absolutely made sure that the chest pain is not from your heart then you need further evaluation to see what is causing this discomfort. Despite pots our best evaluations there is always a small percentage of having a heart event but this depends on your risk factors which your doctor should discuss in detail
