Will blurry vision from blepharitis go away?

Possibly: Blepharitis is more associated with irriitation/redness of the lids/crusting than blurred vision unless there is an association with dry eye. Certainly if there is involvement of the cornea (the clear cover of the eye) blurring of vision can occur. The major treatments are antibiotic drops with or without steroids., lid wipes and warm compresses.

A 40-year-old male asked:

Does blepharitis causes blurry vision?

Certainly can!: Typically blepharitis causes the eyes to have foreign body sensation, feel life there is sand or dirt in the eye, and there is a burning sensation. Sometimes also itchy. The tear film becomes unstable with fluctuating vision. In much more advanced cases there can be ulcerations of the cornea, loss of the limbal stem cells and loss of clarity of vision.

Blepharitis: Your blepharitis, a common inflammation of the eyelids, may lead to keratitis or blepharoconjunctivitis (infection). Remedies often involve hot compresses, lid hygiene with a wash cloth and diluted baby shampoo, gentle massage of the eyelids with the warm wash cloth, and occasionally antibiotic ointments or drops like azasite, and if severe, a combination of an antibiotic and steroid. May use tears.
