No: At the present time, there is no new or novel treatment in patients who already had a stroke. There is only prevention of future strokes.
Dr. Eric Weisman
Neurology 36 years experience
There are some: There are many different types of multi-infarct dementia. A single tiny stroke in the anterior nucleus of the thalamus can cause severe abulia that might respond to Dopamine agonists and psycho-stimulants to some extent. Trans cranial magnetic stimulation of the brain is being used for more and more conditions every day with some success. A lot depends on what structures have been damaged.

It depends....: The frequency of bowel movements varies with age. In the first month, babies can have 4-7 stools per day, sometimes after every feed! at about one month, most infants will move their bowels about 1-4 times per day. Do many people die while waiting for a liver transplant?

2 doctor answers3 doctors weighed in
Dr. Scott Bolhack
Wound care 35 years experience
Liver transplant: A patient must be placed on a national waiting list managed by the united network for organ sharing (unos) in order to receive a liver transplant. I refer you to other resources to get an idea of how this list is generated. I could not find any statistics to answer your question specifically. The average wait time for a liver is just over 300 days.
