I agree: It can cause a number of bizarre reactions and side effects including amnesia and seizures.

Couple concerns: Side effects do occur such as sleep walking, feeling somewhat hungover the next morning, and gradual tolerance, and loss of efficacy. Certainly, drug-drug interactions may be present, and if a patient has already sleep apnea or other sleep disorder issues, there may be additional risks. Other sleep medications do exist, and some patients do better on different meds.
