hi i will be getting a botox shot to restrict my muscles for bladder by urologist does the doctor inject it the same day? tried meds already

Outpatient : If you have not yet seen the urologist it is likely he will evaluate you and schedule it on an outpatient basis. Multiple injections in the bladder with a needle via a cystoscope can be painful and therefore is generally done under anesthesia.

No but: Steroid reduces the inflammation and this may indirectly reduces the muscle spasm. Botox by far provides the longest duration of muscle relaxation.
