Yes: Some people taking glucophage or metformin may slowly have decreased body stores of vitamin B12 due to malabsorption, and in the cold weather many individuals do not get sun exposure and may have insufficient vitamin d levels so i usually recommend a multivitamin to prevent vitamin deficiencies.
