A 31-year-old member asked:
Hi docs, would panic attacks eventually go away as you get used to handling them?

Sometimes: I'd try to think of getting skilled at handling them instead of getting used to them. Whatever leftovers there may be after you learn ways to manage yourself might be candidates for getting used to. Cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) is a great place to start. If you are so physically thrown off, a brief time w/ meds may get you going toward learning new skills. Good luck!
