i was put in a head lock and my throat was squeezed really hard and now there is a clicking noise when i swallow saliva but it doesn't hurt , damage?

Clicking and swallow: There should be a clicking sound when swallowing - the opening and closing of eustachian tube openings. If you are not having any fever, neck swelling, or difficulty breathing - give it a few more days to allow any swelling to subside. Any of these symptoms, seek medical care right away.
