Is it safe for me to do situps or abdominal crunches during pregnancy?

Sit ups: Any exercise that requires a pregnant woman to lie flat on her back in pregnancy is not recommended. Other core exercises such as planks or upright core exercises are safe in most noncomplicated pregnancies and should be done in place of setups and crunches
