help? i have been prescribed diazepam for back pain. will the pain come back once i stop taking it?

Hopefully not: Diazepam is a muscle relaxant (as well as a head relaxant). We often prescribe it for acute muscle injuries. Hopefully with a little rest and muscle relaxant you are much improved within 1 week.
