Too vague: "split personality" is not a recognized diagnostic term and can mean many different things to different people. I'm guessing you are aware of contradictions in your thoughts, feelings, or behavior. See a qualified psychotherapist (probably a psychologist) for an expert opinion, who can to help you resolve/reconcile your inner contradictions so you can live more fully, richly, and authentically.

Not sure: I'm not sure what this means. I would say that someone who has experienced extreme trauma as a child and who has splits in his or her personality that formed to cope with the trauma would benefit from finding a therapist with whom he and she can start to integrate the split off parts of the personality.

Dr. Bernard Seif

Dissociative disorde: You probably mean multiple personality, called dissociative identity disorder these days. Please do not diagnose yourself or others. Seek professional help. Did symptoms can include missing periods of time in one's memory or people telling you things you did or said that you don't remember. Clinical hypnosis can be used to help and the origin of did is often childhood trauma.
