is there an over-the-counter drug/cream to treat the outbreak of genital warts?

Dr. Ravi Chauhan
21 years experience Urology
Yes and no: Over the counter preparations containing salicylic acid work on any type of wart. However, these otc drugs are very caustic to sensitive genital tissue. Therefore, prescription creams for genital warts are a better choice.
