was given 300 of zantac (ranitidine) to take/was told 600 too much because of plavix which i take 75 of....how long can i take zantac (ranitidine)?

Zantac (ranitidine): As long as you are on Aspirin and Plavix (dual antiplatelet drugs) you are at risk for gastritis. Hence it is better to continue zantac (ranitidine) throughout that duration.

Plavix (clopidogrel) and H2blocker: You can reduce it but the Zantac (ranitidine) should help stomach upset if the problem is acid related.
