Cyst with hair, bone: A dermoid cyst is a saclike growth that is present at birth, but may not be noticeable until much later. It contains structures such as hair, fluid, teeth or skin glands that can be found on or in the skin. They grow slowly and are not tender unless ruptured. They usually occur on the face, inside the skull, on the lower back and commonly in the ovaries. :

Usually none: If you are referring to ovarian dermoid cysts, most are asymptomatic and are found incidentally at surgical procedures or on imaging with CT scans or ultrasounds. Almost all are benign. However, they can become painful from hemorrhage or twisting and can prompt emergent removal.

Lump under skin: A dermoid cyst usually looks like a lump underneath the skin. Sometimes in the middle there is a little pit. Occasionally dermoid cysts get infected and look red and enflamed. Antibiotics or surgical drainage is necessary in this situation.
