Probably not: Many breast cancers do not cause pain in the breast, though some do. Usually breast pain is the result of some type of inflammation such as fibrocystic condition, mastitis, breast infection or breast cysts among many causes. A medical evaluation is needed to rule out a more significant pathology such as breast cancer.
